Parents used to consult me as a school principal in Sudan about their children’s university studies; these consultations were part and parcel of the service I provided to them.

I have answered several questions regarding this matter from parents since the outbreak of war in Sudan.

Medicine

I found information about cheap universities in Europe to study medicine. According to the article below, the annual fees for the Sorbonne Medical School in Paris are 170 euros. However, please be aware that wearing hijab is prohibited in French universities. However to my knowledge this is not the case for the other universities in this list:

UK Medical Scholarships

Imperial Scholarship

Offered by Imperial College London, this scholarship values £9,250 each year for 6 years. It’s awarded for outstanding performance during the admissions process. However, it’s only offered once every three years. (medicalschoolexpert.co.uk)

Hull York Scholarship

Offered by Hull York Medical School, this scholarship values £2,400 each year for 5 years. It’s automatically applied to all eligible students who have a household income of £25,000 or less. (medicalschoolexpert.co.uk)

Akindolie Medical Scholarship

Some of the cheapest accredited online undergraduate civil engineering degrees in India are:

- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from Amity Online¹: This is a four-year program that covers the core concepts and applications of civil engineering, such as structural analysis, design, construction, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, and project management. - Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Civil Engineering from Jain University, Bangalore¹: This is a three-year program that focuses on the fundamentals and applications of civil engineering, such as engineering mathematics, physics, chemistry, mechanics, materials, fluid mechanics, structural analysis, design, geology, surveying, and construction management. The program is accredited by the NAAC and the AICTE. The fee for this program is *INR 1,20,000* per year, which is equivalent to *$1,645* per year (as of March 1, 2024).

Business and Computer Science

There is an online university in America for bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business and computer science:
